I’m the oldest of 5 brothers and
2 sisters. Growing up, I didn’t have anyone to teach me to look way ahead in my
life or live by the cliché, ‘plan your work and work your plan.’ I had the best
parents whom I learned a lot from by just watching. As a family we attended
church 3 to 4 times a week.
My father was a cool, calm, and collective man who disciplined me the old-fashioned way. My mother--a courageous, hardworking, keen, humorous, and kind woman who helped me with my homework and kept plenty of good books around for me to read.
