Do everything within your power in not becoming a victim of a scam. There are countless numbers of them presented to us online and in person.
If you are one who sometimes open
your spam email, surely you’ve seen a scam similar to, you’ve inherited
millions of dollars or a bank is holding millions of dollars for you. Send us
your name, address, banking information, and a cash transfer-wire for x amount
of thousands of dollars and we’ll get your money to you right away.
Don’t do it.
Or you are about to get in your
car or just got in your car and from out of nowhere, someone appears before you
saying you dropped a 20 dollar bill. Don’t fall for it. A reply such as, you can
have it, or I don’t think so, is best, as you would quickly get in your car and
drive off or should you already be in the driver’s seat, drive off. Be attentive to the situation and immediately dial 911 if you feel threatened.
Or, someone gives you a sales
pitch about cologne or perfume they are selling and asks you to sniff it. Don’t
do it. Find a way to get away. It’s not perfume or cologne, rather a chemical
that’s sure to quickly incapacitate you.
I think you get the point. What
is our world coming to when a person walks in a church and kill people?
Be safe out and about. Evil and death lurks everywhere.
